Gothic 3 Explorer

Walk the roads, swim the coast and fly above the forests of Gothic 3. Gothic 3 Explorer is an independent exploration client focused on the world’s landscapes, atmosphere and sound.

An original Gothic 3 installation is required. No Gothic 3 game data is included.

What you can explore

• Streamed terrain, settlements and world assets read from your own installation.
• Day and night, regional weather, music and environmental sound.
• A world map, compact mini-map and compass/time/weather HUD.

Controls

• WASD + mouse: move and look.
• F: switch between walking and flight.
• Shift: run or boost flight speed.
• Space / Ctrl: jump or rise / descend; vertical swimming movement in water.
• M: world map. Tab: mini-map visibility. V: hide/show the exploration HUD.
• E: interact with a ready campfire.
• Esc: back out of a map or bonfire menu; otherwise exit.
